The investment team at Redwood is led by Jonathan Kolatch. Prior to founding Redwood in
2000, Mr. Kolatch spent his entire career, from 1982 to 1999, at Goldman Sachs, where he
retired as a Partner. He headed the High Yield and Distressed Trading group from 1992 until
1996. He then started and managed the Credit Arbitrage group, which focused on proprietary
investing in high yield, distressed and emerging market opportunities. Mr. Kolatch attended
Columbia College and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
